These terms cover this portfolio website and the basis for discussing video editing projects with Chalchikan Barman. Project-specific details must be agreed separately in writing before work starts.
Using this portfolio
You may view the work and share links to this website. Displaying a video here does not grant permission to copy, resell, re-upload, or claim it as your own. Third-party footage, music, graphics, and 3D assets remain subject to their respective rights and licences.
Project scope
The project brief will set out deliverables, video lengths, formats, references, deadlines, and responsibilities. Work outside that scope, including new concepts or additional versions, requires a revised agreement.
Fees and payment
The quote or project agreement will specify the fee, currency, payment schedule, any deposit, and any applicable charges. This website does not advertise fixed prices or promise a particular payment arrangement.
Materials and deadlines
The client must provide the materials and permissions needed for the agreed edit. Delivery dates depend on receiving the required footage, instructions, approvals, and payments on time. Any effect of a delay will be discussed rather than assumed.
Feedback and revisions
The project agreement will state the number and scope of revision rounds. Feedback should be consolidated and supplied through the agreed channel. Additional requests or a change of direction may affect the fee and delivery schedule.
Rights and deliverables
The project agreement must identify the rights licensed or assigned, permitted uses, territory, duration, and any conditions tied to payment. Editable project files, templates, source assets, and third-party licences are included only when expressly agreed. Any copyright assignment must meet applicable legal requirements; this page alone does not transfer rights.
Confidentiality and portfolio use
Confidential materials and unreleased work will be handled according to the project agreement. Client work will be added to this portfolio only with the necessary permission. The videos currently featured are personal projects; their inclusion does not imply a commission or endorsement by a brand depicted in them.
Cancellation and changes
Cancellation, refunds, work already completed, and any reserved production time will be handled under the agreed project terms and applicable law. There is no blanket non-refundable deposit or cancellation fee stated on this website.
External services and results
Videos are hosted by YouTube and contact links open WhatsApp. Their availability and features are controlled by those providers. Editing services do not guarantee views, engagement, sales, or any other commercial outcome.
Questions and disagreements
Contact Chalchikan Barman to clarify a brief or raise a concern. Any governing law or dispute-resolution procedure should be specified in the project agreement. Nothing on this page excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
